Rockdale Christian Camp 2011
We appreciate your interest in Rockdale Christian Camp. This year’s camp runs from June 6 - 10 at the Atlanta Bible Camp commonly known as CAMP INAGEHI. It is open to youth from 8 yr. (by June 1st) to 12th grade. Children will be grouped according to age with approx. 8 campers and 1 counselor per cabin. Rockdale Christian Camp is under the oversight of the Elders of the Conyers Church of Christ in conjunction with the Board of Directors at Camp Inagehi and the Elders at the Macland Road Church of Christ.  This is the first year that Rockdale Christian Camp has combined efforts with Camp Ingehi.  We look forward to a great week of camp. 

The cost of camp will be $150.00. Early registration is $140.00 and late registration is $160.00. Camp payments are non-refundable three weeks before camp.  See the links to Camp Inagehi for registration information.                                   General Camp Rules

1.  Each camper is expected to follow and participate in the camp program as outlined by the directors.

2.  Campers will remain on camp premises unless instructed by a Camp Director.

3.  No form of tobacco, alcohol, or drugs will be allowed.

4.  No knives or other weapons are permitted.

5.  Christian conduct and language are expected at all times.

6.  Campers are responsible for keeping beds, cabins, and showers clean.

7.  Appropriate modest apparel. No short shorts or tank tops.

8.  All visitors must check in with a Camp Director. 

                                                                                                                                                                                          
Clothing:

Plainly marked with camper’s name. Modest dress is a must to promote the proper Christian attitudes. Shorts must reach the end of the middle finger when arms are held at the side. No tank tops, Sleeveless shirts, spagetti strap tops or short shorts. Bring enough clothing for 6 days. Comfortable play shoes will be needed. No one will be allowed to go barefoot.


                                                         What To Bring:

Bible, pen or pencil, small notebook, flashlight, sleeping bag or sheets and blanket, pillow, towels, wash cloths, soap, sandals for shower, toothpaste and brush, shampoo, comb, swimsuit (modest), robe, insect repellent, bag for dirty clothes, raincoat, camera, film or batteries or SD card for camera. Campers will not need to bring money to camp. RCC is not responsible for lost or stolen items. 

                                                        What to Leave at Home:

Inappropriate clothing for camp as listed above.  Cell Phones, Mp3 Players, IPods etc.  The camp schedule does not allow for time for personal electronic entertainment.  The atmosphere at camp is one of retreat, relaxation, recreation and regeneration.  For these few days we leave the influence of such equipment behind as we focus on those things important.

                                                                     Rules:

Campers are expected to follow all rules as outlined and acknowledged in this registration packet. Parents, review these rules before bringing your child to camp. Campers will show proper respect for camp staff at all times. Unacceptable behavior will result in loss of camp privileges up to and including early pick-up by parents.

                                                                            Important:

Make sure to indicate school grade during the upcoming 2011-2012school year. Every effort is made to place campers by class grade, however this is dependent upon # campers at each grade level. Some groups may be split to balance the number of campers per cabin.
